With its steady trade winds, crystal clear waters and outrageous winter surf, Ho'okipa Beach is the world's premier destination for windsurfing waves.

Ho-okipa is home to the Aloha Classic and other prestigious international professional windsurfing contests. In the summer, when the waves are small, Ho'okipa is a great beach for windsurfers of intermediate and better skill level, but when the winter Northwest swells come in, it's experts only!

Directions from Maui by the Sea

1 mile east of Maui by the Sea, on Hana Highway. Turn left out of the driveway, go past Mama's Fish House, on to Ho'okipa Beach Park.
