Kite Beach is a great place to kiteboard, or learn to kiteboard - this is where the Maui kiteboarding schools give lessons.
Directions from Maui by the Sea
5 miles west of Maui by the Sea. Turn right out of the
driveway, go past Paia, to Kahului. In Kahului, go through the Dairy Road intersection (Kmart on your right),
turn right at the Hobron Avenue intersection, then make the next right at Amala Place.
Go down Amala Place until you reach Kite Beach - there is no sign, but you'll see the kiteboarding school vans on your left - dirt driveway. If you get to Kanaha Beach Park, you've gone too far!
